Introduction to Integrated Management Systems

This practical one-day course introduces you to the process approach to management and the ISO requirements for the standards for Quality, Health & Safety and Environment.

Integrated Management Systems combines all aspects of an organisations processes and systems into one framework, which may be certified to two or more of the ISO standards. Our course lays the foundations for working with QHSE (Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental) Management Systems certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.

Objectives

This course aims to give trainees a strong background knowledge of workplace processes and the standards for quality, health and safety and environment. By the end of this module, trainees will be able to:

  • Describe how processes operate
  • List the phases of Deming’s cycle of continual improvement (PDCA)
  • Define, in a business sense, quality, health & safety and environment
  • Describe the advantages of a management systems to control quality, health & safety and environment in a business
  • Explain the standard structure of Annex SL
Who is this course for?

This is an introductory course, designed to provide you with a foundation of knowledge to build on.

 

As such, this course is designed for anyone who wishes to enhance their understanding of the three standards for Quality, Health & Safety and Environment.

Assessment Methods

We assess trainees’ understanding practical exercises and group discussions. There are no formalised assessments for this module.

 

100% attendance is required to successfully complete this course.

Certification

This course is approved by the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management.

You will be provided with a certificate of attendance once you have completed this course.

Our in-person course costs £300.00+VAT takes place at the fantastic facilities at Sibbald Training in Blackridge. This price covers refreshments and lunch whilst taking part on our course.
