Course Objectives:
Our introductory module aims to give trainees a strong background knowledge of workplace processes and the ISO standard for occupation health & safety management (ISO 45001). By the end of this module, trainees will be able to:
- Describe how processes operate
- List the phases of Deming’s cycle of continual improvement (PDCA)
- Define ‘Health & Safety’ in a business sense
- Perform hazard and risk identification
- Describe the advantages of a Health & Safety Management System
- Explain the standard structure of Annex SL
